Membership Terms:

Our association dues are $60.00 annually. There is no extra charge for meetings, except when dinner is involved. Requirements for membership are not based upon production fees or level of equipment. All prospective members must first submit a completed application along with the non-refundable application fee of $10.00. A minimum of two monthly meetings must be attended as a probationary member prior to the application being submitted to the membership for consideration. All applications for membership shall be approved or rejected by secret ballot of majority votes of the members in good standing present at the meeting. New membership voting will be on a quarterly basis starting with the January meeting, provided a quorum is present. Non-members may not be present during discussion or vote. Since PVA is a local organization, members are not required to pay dues to a national organization, but our members are expected to:

* Be in the business of videography or another business that supports videographers with products and/or services.

* Members must abide by the bylaws adopted by PVA.

*Operate their businesses within the laws of their local jurisdiction.

* Share technical knowledge, insights and experiences with fellow PVA members.

* Participate regularly in PVA activities, return borrowed PVA library materials promptly, and pay association dues on time.

* Conduct their business, PVA and public dealings with the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.
